An exceptional quality H&F Paris last quarter of C19th slate and variegated rouge marble three piece clock garniture set.  Drum head shaped clock case supported by scrolls over visible pendulum aperture revealing compensated mercury pendulum. Brass & bezel glass clock face opening to reveal two section enamelled dial with visible escapement on an enamel clock dial.  Signed F. Marti ,two train movement clock. Circa 1870. Clock is in immaculate condition with no faults and is in perfect working order.  Dimensions: Clock height, 47cm,18cm Length, 16cm depth. Clock Garnitures with lidded urns featuring removable internal metal liners or cups. These were primarily designed to function as potpourri jars or cassolettes, allowing dried fragrant petals, herbs, or spices to scent a formal room without spilling or damaging the main ceramic/bronze body.
