A 19th Century carved oak armchair in the 17th century manner. The back with turned finials and Prince of Wales feather decoration to top rail, flanked by turned supports and slat back. Quality Scottish green tartan design Damask covered seat & cushion with elongated scroll shaped arms on either side. Cabriole legs joined by turned and carved stretchers to base. Overall, a country house chair of quality construction & design in immaculate antique condition.  Measures: 55cm width of seat, 64cm depth, 121cm height.
