A late 18th to early 19th century period country Oak dresser base. Circa 1790-1820.
Planked Oak top with moulded edge, mahogany cross-banded drawers above a shaped frieze. Turned column supports joined by stretchers to the base. Excellent structural condition throughout with no replaced or later timbers. Various historical marks to top, Later or replaced brass drawer pulls & escutcheon plates. Drawers operating well. Good mid Oak colour. Good narrow early country Oak side-tables are hard to find. This one measures: 53cm depth, 156cm Length, 81cm height.
